As a rule, the cheapest parking at Frankfurt Airport is with off-airport providers offering a shuttle or valet service. With the shuttle service you book a parking space near Frankfurt Airport including a transfer to the terminal. The car parks are about 5 to 15 minutes from the airport, for example in Kelsterbach, Mörfelden-Walldorf or Neu-Isenburg. You drive to the car park specified and are taken to the airport terminal by shuttle bus together with your luggage; on your return journey you are picked up again and driven to your car. The price includes the parking space and the transfer (outward and return journey). Allow around 30 minutes extra in total for parking, loading luggage and the transfer, especially at peak times.

With the valet service at Frankfurt Airport you call the parking provider concerned about 30 minutes before you arrive, drive straight to the terminal and hand your car over there to a member of the provider’s staff. They take your vehicle to the reserved parking space or to the multi-storey car park. On your return your car is ready and waiting for you at the terminal again, so that you can set off home without any detours.

At Frankfurt Airport you can park directly at Terminal 1 and at Terminal 3. Directly in front of the terminals at Frankfurt Airport there are designated short-stop areas for dropping off and picking up passengers, which are intended only for brief set-downs and pick-ups. The currently permitted stopping time and any charges are signposted at the access roads. The entrance height in most terminal multi-storey car parks at Frankfurt Airport is around 2.0 to 2.1 metres. Vehicles with a roof box, tall vans or motorhomes should therefore check in advance whether an open-air parking area or a special XXL parking space is available. Yes, Frankfurt Airport has several charging points for electric vehicles in various multi-storey car parks and in selected parking areas. These are usually AC charging points with a Type 2 connector that can be used alongside your parking time. At Terminal 1 and in the new P10 multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 you can charge right at your parking space; P10 has around 165 charging points. A reservation is usually not possible — so arrive in good time and plan an alternative in case all charging spaces are occupied. Frankfurt Airport has designated disabled parking spaces in all terminal multi-storey car parks and in the short-stay car parks.
