Dusseldorf Airport Parking

Parking at Dusseldorf Airport currently starts at 20 € per week (the cheapest offer on ParkingList). In total, 90 offers are available for comparison: shuttle car parks are usually the cheapest, while valet and terminal parking offer more comfort at higher prices. Early bookers get the best rates.

As a rule, the cheapest parking at Dusseldorf Airport is with off-airport shuttle and valet providers, whose car parks are about 5 to 15 minutes away — for example on Kieshecker Weg, in the districts of Rath, Mörsenbroich and Golzheim or in Ratingen and Neuss. Directly at the airport, the P5 multi-storey car park is the cheaper choice: it is about 700 metres from the terminals, and the SkyTrain takes you to the terminal in 2 minutes. Good-value offers from off-airport providers include, for example:

1. MyTravelCarPark
2. ParkingSpaces DUS
3. Universum

With the shuttle service you book a parking space near Dusseldorf Airport including a transfer to the terminal. The car parks are about 5 to 15 minutes from the airport, for example in the districts of Rath, Mörsenbroich and Golzheim or in Ratingen and Neuss. On the day of travel you drive to the car park you have booked and are taken to the airport terminal, together with your luggage, by shuttle bus within a few minutes. On your return journey you are picked up from the airport as well and brought back to your car. The price includes the parking space and the transfer to the airport (outward and return journey).

With valet parking at Dusseldorf Airport you hand over your car directly at the terminal to a member of the parking provider’s staff. You inform the driver by telephone about 30 minutes before you arrive so that they meet you at the terminal on time. Your vehicle is then parked in a secured parking space; on your return the service brings the car back to the terminal so that you can set off home without delay. The big advantage is the time saved, as neither a search for a parking space nor a shuttle transfer is needed — on the other hand, the service is usually more expensive and requires a reservation in advance. Pay attention to provider reviews and insurance conditions.

In the Kiss & Fly zone on the upper departures lane in front of the terminals at Dusseldorf Airport you may stop free of charge for up to 7 minutes to drop off or pick up passengers; number plate recognition allows this twice a day. After that, every 5 minutes or part thereof costs €5. For longer pick-ups, car park P12 offers a pick-up and drop-off ticket for €6 (90 minutes). Parking free of charge on a permanent basis is not possible at Dusseldorf Airport — the 7 minutes of Kiss & Fly are the only free option (airport tariff table as of 1 September 2026).

Yes, charging points for electric vehicles are installed in several multi-storey car parks at Dusseldorf Airport, mostly on the lower levels near the entrances and exits. The charging points are clearly signposted and can be used alongside your parking time; a reservation is generally not possible, so you should allow a little time to find one, especially at peak periods. Off-airport parking providers around the airport also offer charging options in some cases, often even with a charging service in which your vehicle is charged while you are away.

In most of the multi-storey car parks at Dusseldorf Airport the entrance heights are around 2.00 to 2.10 metres: a maximum of 2.00 metres in the P1 and P7 car parks, a maximum of 1.90 metres in P3 and P8 and a maximum of 2.10 metres in the P5 car park. One exception is the P12 car park near the terminal, with an entrance height of up to 3.50 metres — suitable for higher vehicles. For vehicles with roof boxes, vans or motorhomes there are also designated open-air car parks with no height limit. Check the signs at the entrances in advance.

All terminal multi-storey car parks at Dusseldorf Airport have disabled parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the lifts and terminal entrances. The spaces are wider, barrier-free and easily accessible. People with an appropriate parking permit can use them; depending on the features of the permit, reductions or time exemptions are possible, which are usually activated on site through customer service or at the pay stations. The exact conditions are set out on the airport website and signposted at the car park entrances.

Whether you have to hand over the key depends on the type of car park. In the official multi-storey car parks at Dusseldorf Airport you generally park yourself and keep the key. With some off-airport providers the vehicles are placed in group parking areas or moved by staff, so handing over the key may be necessary. However, many providers also offer rates in which you keep the key and your car is not moved again after you have parked it. Check the conditions before booking in order to choose the solution that suits you.

With most providers on ParkingList you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival — the exact deadlines are stated with every offer and in your booking confirmation; rebooking is generally possible there by cancelling free of charge and booking again. Different terms apply to the official car parks of Dusseldorf Airport (terminal parking directly from the airport): cancellation up to 24 hours before the start of parking (express bookings: up to 1 hour beforehand); the service fee is not refunded. The terms and conditions linked in the booking process are decisive.

The booking is paid for online by credit card or PayPal and confirmed immediately by email. ParkingList does not charge any additional booking fees.

Many providers secure their sites with fences, lighting, video surveillance or staff. The security features a particular car park actually offers are stated in the respective offer description — in addition, the verified customer reviews help you form an assessment.

Some providers accept oversized vehicles, in some cases for a surcharge. The details of maximum dimensions and entrance height in the respective offer are decisive — in multi-storey car parks, height restrictions of around 2 metres usually apply. If in doubt, ask the provider before booking.

The earlier, the cheaper: during school holidays the cheapest contingents are often sold out weeks in advance. It is best to book as soon as your travel dates are fixed — thanks to free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival (with most providers) there is no risk.
